Services of ETSS

ETSS handles the export needs of customers who purchased or obtained items either from ETSS or from other sources. Most dealers do not handle the export of firearms or components, but in this day of internet commerce, they are more than happy to sell to anyone and ship the item to another FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer in the USA. In such a situation, ETSS will gladly accept the shipment on your behalf and handle the required export details for you. Please contact us for further details, as each individual export proposition may entail a different situation with specific requirements.

ETSS is also happy to operate on a business to business basis – meaning we will gladly handle the entire export burden of US-based companies. There are already many reputable and successful businesses that have taken advantage of the services ETSS offers. We are proud to be able to count amongst our customers such firms as Shiloh Sharps, Ballard Rifle Company, Choate Machine and Tool, Collectors Firearms, Robar, and Volquartsen.

Permit and Processing Fees for International Export
Effective Immediately as of September 25, 2008: We MUST charge a $250 export license fee for every approved U.S. State Department export permit. This is legally required by the U.S. State Department.
Please understand that this fee is in ADDITION to all others, and does not remain with ETSS, but is remitted entirely to the U.S. State Department.

We charge a per-gun Permit and Processing Fee of 15% of the purchase price for per-gun-values of up to $3,000. The minimum charge is $125 and maximum charge is $300.
We charge a per-gun Permit and Processing Fee of 10% of the purchase price per firearm valued at over $3,000.
Additional charges include Shipping and Handling. (For example, shipping via Federal Express to the nearest Federal Express airport destination in your home country.) Shipping and Handling charges vary.
The export process can and often is complicated and time-consuming. The packaging and shipping process can be as well. Our priority is to complete each order thoroughly and have all goods delivered safely. Our reasonable rates are not a true reflection of the time and care we spend on each order, but rather our friendly way of encouraging and supporting our fellow collectors, hunters, and sport shooters world-wide.
